ABOUT THE AUTHOR: My home town of Hexham in Northumberland has been the inspiration of many of my poems. My move to London when I was 18 was a major event and undoubtedly inspired many poems. At the age of 15/16 my love for poetry was awoken on a school trip to Ford Castle for the study of Wuthering Heights!
